O ne Christians man has a job that was paying him $40,000 Us Per year. A voice told him to quit the job and go preach the gospel. None of us preached the gospel more that the apostle Paul did he stop working? One sister follows voices, she was finally married some seven times, and the marriage broke each time. Other Christians I know got married seven times also and the marriage broke. All them Christians who, caught up in hearing voices and sound like they have some special privilege from the lord, always end up on the trash pile of Christianity. Another man was going to church one Sunday morning. He stops into a cave to escape the rain, a voice told him to stop going to church and Sunday and go to Church and Saturday. One minister I know heard a voice talking to him, told him to stop the fasting he was one, and go pick up the trash in his yard. How do you know when God is talking to you? How do we differ between the voice of God, and our ambitions? How do we differentiate between demonic spirits whom faking the voice and presence of God? How do we know when it is not the Holy Spirit speaking to us?

THE FIRST THING TO LEARN HERE IS.

Before God talk to any person. God first address the person moral issues. Before God put somebody to work, his first feed him or her. Before God sent out people, he first cleanses and clothed them. It is possible to hear God's voice. But before God sent you to the people he is first going to fix your people problem. A person cannot tell me that God talk to him or her and the person still turn up a racist. I often wonder how King Saul gets such a good start and later faded out downed the road as he walks with God. What went wrong, where did he go off course? The same way that King Saul gets off course it is the same way Christians done it today.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IT IS GOD THAT TOLD YOU TO STOP WORKING?

1 Cor. 9:14 (KJV) Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

One sister told me that the lord told her to stop working and go talk to people in the street. Is talking to people in the street wrong? No. Are your bills being paid for preaching on the street? If your bills are not being paid, maybe he wants you to go preach in the street but not to stop working. The apostle Paul has the right to stop working but did not use it.

1 Cor. 9:3-6 (NASB-U) My defense to those who examine me is this: [4] Do we not have a right to eat and drink? [5] Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas? [6] Or do only Barnabas and I not have a right to refrain from working?

WE HAVE NO SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD APART FROM THE WRITTEN WORD.

1 Cor. 14:37 (KJV) If any man thinks himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

2 Tim. 3:16 (NASB) All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

1 Cor. 10:11 (NASB) Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. I heard people say, "The lord told me" I would like to ask how and when did he speak to you? What did he say? What was his voice sound like? Was it a audible voice speaking to you? Alternatively, was it an internal voice speaking to you audible, a voice coming from your stomach? Was the voice just drop into your mind? Did you dream it? If God has really spoken to you, you must can give some kind of explanation as to how you know it was God. Satan spirit sometime speaks to people. People sometime is listening to their own mind own spirit and own ambitions and mistaken these to be the voice of God.

WE SEE WHAT DECEVING SPIRIT DONE TO KING SAUL.

1 Samuel 16:14-15 (KJV) But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him. [15] And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.

1 Samuel 10:6-9 (KJV) And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. [7] And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee. [8] And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do. [9] And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.

Evil Spirit From God

Evil spirits come from God only in the sense of being permitted by Him to trouble those who are backslidden and persist in sin and rebellion (1 Samuel 16:14; 1 Kings 22:21-24; 2 Chron. 18:20-23). The idea is that God does not protect such a person from spirits as He otherwise would if he yielded to Him. God gave Saul over to an evil spirit as punishment for his sins and self-will. Naturally, when the Holy Spirit left him, he was open to an evil spirit of torment from Satan.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN "BY TESTAMENT?"

Something that serves as tangible proof or evidence: A statement of belief; A Law. A written document providing for the disposition of a person's property after death; a will. The old testament of the Bible was God's old will to humankind. The New Testament of our Bible is God new well for us. It is filled with examples and how we are to deal with almost every situation that will arise.

TODAY GOD SPOKE TO US THROUGH THE TESTAMENT, BY THE SPIRIT AND BY THE BRIDE.

Rev. 22:17 (NASB) And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. How does God communicate to us today?

The problem is this. The satanic and demonic spirit fakes the Holy Spirit. Therefore, listening to a voice is not the correct method. The Holy Spirit will use the written word to communicate God's will to our life.

John 16:13 (KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:14 (KJV) He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:15 (KJV) All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

HOW DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT COMMUNICATE TO US TODAY?

For example. Suppose God want you to go to Africa as a missionary how would you know that it is his will for you to go. God would plant that desires in your heart. And put a burden upon you. Then he will open doors for you. All your training will be just like some unseen hand is guiding you into that part. Do not rule out vision and dreams, but do not establish these as the only way that God communicate his will. Which ever way God chooses to communicate to you he will give you confirmation.

Numbers 11:11 (NASB-U) So Moses said to the Lord, "Why have You been so hard on Your servant? And why have I not found favor in Your sight, that You have laid the burden of all this people on me?

Malachi 1:1 (KJV) The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi.

John 14:26 (KJV) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Holy Spirit communicates God's will to us by reminding us of what the written word says on the subject. If the written word has already described how to deal with certain situations, you and I will never hear any voice or get any visitation from God except the Holy Spirit leading you and guiding you to locate that truth in the scriptures. Do not be caught looking for any word except out of the written Testament.

THE HOLY SPIRIT CREATING SITUATIONS.

The Holy Spirit in guiding us into God's will create certain situation, which close some doors and open others. We have to learn to pay attentions to certain situation.

Judges 9:23 (KJV) Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:

SEVEN TIMES, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAITH.

Rev. 2:7 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Rev. 2:11 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Rev. 2:17 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Rev. 2:29 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev. 3:6 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev. 3:13 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev. 3:22 (KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

FOOLED BY EVIL SPIRITS.

Supposed conviction of sin by deceiving spirits. By Jesse Pen- Lewis, in the book title "War On The Saints" I united with a number of brethren and sisters, one whole week every month, in prayer to God to pour out more of His Spirit, gifts and power. After having done this for some time with great earnestness, such powerful and wonderful manifestations of God and His Holy Spirit (apparently) took place, that we no longer doubted God had heard our prayer, and His Spirit had descended into our midst, and on our gathering. Amongst other things, this spirit, which we thought to be the Holy Spirit, used a fifteen-year-old girl as his instrument, though whom everyone belonging to our gathering, and having any sin or burden of conscience, had it revealed in the gathering. Nobody could remain in the meeting with any burden of conscience without it being revealed to the meeting by this spirit. For example: a gentleman of esteem and respect from the neighborhood came to the meeting, and all his sins were exposed in the presence of the gathering by the fifteen-year-old girl. Thereupon he took me into an adjoining room, so broken down, and admitted to me, with tears, that he had committed all these sins, which the girl had exposed. He confessed this and all other sin known to him. Then he came again into the meeting, but hardly had he entered when the same voice said to him" Ha! you have not confessed all yet, you have stolen ten gulden, that you have not confessed" in consequence, he took me again into the adjoining room and said" It is true, I have also done this" This man had never seen this fifteen-year-old girl in his life, neither she him.---We had to unmask this spirit which had brought about these things-which we took to be the Holy Ghost as a terrible power of darkness.-- As we came downstairs the voice of this power said, using the fifteen-year old girl as his instrument" What is this rebellion in your midst? You will be sorely punished for your unbelief" I told this voice that it was true we did not know with whom we had dealing. But we wanted to be in that attitude, that if it was an angel of God, or the Spirit of God, we would not sin against Him, but if it was a devil we would not be deceived by him'' if you are the power of God, you will be in accord as we handle the Word of God.-- Then the power had to reveal itself of its own accord. Through the person which he had been using as his instrument he made such abominable and terrible grimaces, and shrieked in such a piercing tone'' Now I am found out, now I am found out"

HOW DEMONS ATTACK ADVANCE BELIVERS.

In The book "War On The Saints, by Jessie Penn-Lewis. Page 149-150. 1-3 The agency of demons is always brought more conspicuously into notice, in proportion to the manifestation and the power of God's work among souls. When the son of God was manifest in the flesh, called forth the activity and outspoken agency of demons more than ever before.

VARIOUS KINDS OF DEMONS.

Demons are of a multiplied variety. They are of various types, greater in diversity than human beings, and these demons always seek to possess a person congenial to them in some characteristic. The bible tells us of unclean demons, with craft and fortune-telling demons, of insanity, of drunkenness, of gluttony, of idleness, of wonder or miracle working, of despotic demons, theological demons, screeching and yelling demons. There are demons that act more particularly on the body, or some organ or appetite of the body. There are others that act more directly upon the intellect, or the sensibilities, and emotions, and affections.

There are others of a higher order that act directly on man's spiritual nature, upon the conscience, or the spiritual perceptions. These are the ones that act as angels of light, and side-track and delude many who are real Christians.

HOW DEMONS FASTEN ON HUMAN BEINGS.

They seek out those whose make-up and temperament is most congenial to themselves, and then seek to fasten themselves on some part of the body, or brain, or some appetites, Or some faculty of the mind, either the reason, or imagination, or perception; and when they get access, they bury themselves into the very structure of the person, so as to identify themselves with the personality of the one they possess.

WILD ABNORMAL IMPULSES BEHAVIOURS.

"A very holy and useful woman says, that soon after receiving the baptism of the Spirit, there came to her one night in the church, a wild abnormal impulse to throw the hymn-book at the preacher, and run over the church screaming; and it took all her will power to keep her hand from throwing that book, but she had the common sense to know that the Holy Spirit was not the author of such a suggestion. If she had yielded to that sudden feeling, it would have likely given that fanatical demon admission to her emotional nature and ruined her life-work.

Another person said he felt like rolling on the floor, and groaning and pulling the chairs around, but he distinctly perceived that the impulse to do so had some things wild in it; and a touch of self-display contrary to the gentleness and sweetness of Jesus; and, as quickly as he saw it was an attack of a false spirit, he was delivered. But another man had the same impulse, and fell down groaning and roaring, beating the floor with his hands and feet, and the demon entered into him as the angel of light, and got him to think that his conduct was of the Holy Ghost, and it became a regular habit in the meetings he attended, until he would ruin every religious meeting he was in.

DEMONIC ACTIVITIES, THE GREATEST DANGER TO THE CHRISTIANS CHURCHES.

Some young people at one time say" We want Jesus, but we do not want the Holy Ghost. The reason for this is the way so call Christians behave when the received the demonic spirit posing to be the Holy Spirit. They behave so badly that it turned off the younger generation. One unsaved man said" Since sister B and Sister C receive the Holy Ghost they are as stupid as ever" "They are outside railing and the grass and are speaking in tongues" At the same time the church people failed to see that Satan came in among them and take possessions of the two young girls and are pushing to be the Holy Spirit.

1 Jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Soldiers win battles, but are not the ones that win the war; the spies on the inside win the war. Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall on account of spy's activities. The apostle Paul told the Christians that after his death, wolves(a word used to describe fake ministers) will enter in among them. Acts 20:29 (NASB) "I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; Acts 20:30 (NASB) and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Acts 20:31 (NASB) "Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.

GOD PROMISE TO SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT UPON THE LIFE OF THOSE WHO ACCEPT JESUS.

2 Cor. 5:19 (NASB-U) namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Him, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

For God to reconcile the world unto himself, he must first equip his people with a love, power and grace, which cross culture. If what you have cannot cross culture it is not from God.

John 16:13 (NASB-U) "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

Does my reader ever wonder. What happen to all the people who say that they are filled with the Holy Ghost? Where is the power that supposes to be upon a Holy Spirit filled life? Where is that love that supposes to follow? Where are the bowels of mercy? Where are the revelations that such people suppose to get? What truth is the spirit that they say they have been guiding them into? And what happens to the ability to see things coming?

Acts 1:8 (NASB-U) but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." 1 Cor. 2:12 (NASB-U) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,

THE HOLY SPIRIT ALREADY CAME.

The Holy Spirit has already come and filed the body of Christ here on Earth from the day of Pentecost. Nothing is going to come down out of the skies and hit you again. At the time of conversion the Holy Spirit baptizes you into the family of God and that is how you know that you got saved. As time goes by the Holy Spirit might anoint you again and again for service.

The word "spirit" is found 551 times in Scripture. The word literally means messenger and is used of Christ, angels, and people. 1.Christ, the second Person of the Trinity appeared to men as the messenger of God (1 Cor. 10:4,9; 1 Cor. 11:3). They carry on work daily and meet responsibilities that only beings with personal bodies, souls, and spirits are capable of: (1)They drive spirit horses (2 Kings 2:12; 2 Kings 6:13-17; Zech. 1:7-11; Zech. 6:1- 6). (2)They guard gates (Rev. 21:12). (3)They wage war in actual physical combat (2 Thes. 1:7-10; Rev. 12:7-9). (4)They execute judgments (Genesis 19; 2 Samuel 24; 2 Kings 19:35; 2 Chron. 32:21; Psalm 78:49; Matthew 13:41-42; Acts 12:23; Rev. 8:1-9:21; Rev. 15:1- 16:2). (5)They minister to saints (1 Kings 19:5-7; Daniel 6:22; Matthew 4:11; Acts 10; Hebrews 1:14). (6)They rule nations (Daniel 10:13-21; Daniel 12:1). (7)They help each individual (Matthew 18:10). (8)They sing, praise, and worship God (Psalm 103:20; Psalm 148:2; Luke 2:13; Rev. 5:11). (9)They strengthen in trial (Matthew 4:11; Luke 22:43). (10)They lead sinners to gospel workers (Acts 10:3).
