he story you are about to read is true: I remember well, because all this happened during the first year of my conversion to Christianity. There were many girls that were converted and received baptism during the time of my conversion. All of us young people wanted to get married. However, there were many vague concepts concerning relationship, marriage, sex, proposal, and how to go about finding the correct mate. These women think that they must not play any part in the selection, it is the lord’s duty and the man’s duty, and the lord will send the correct man in his own time. Well! I got married, and have children and my children comes get married and have children, and grandchildren are now coming into breeding age, and some of these women are still there waiting on the Lord. I met one of them in Jamaica. “I ask her, do you get married yet?” she replied. “No?’ “Still waiting on the Lord to send the correct man” At the same time she has no clue what the correct man will look like when he turns up. How Satan deceived us! How many lonely nights that woman sleep by herself, how she must have felt to see other women her age with children and grandchildren. How is the lord faithful to her? Now she has passed breading age. This is a bad testimony. How can you tell the young women that the lord is good, what goodness has he done for you? What do you have to show to validate that goodness? Bad concepts, new age doctrines find its way into the Christian churches. We need to understand that some of those nice quotations we saw on the internet, sound good, looks good, and it rime, but it is one of Satan’s doctrines.
Over the years I have been asking women if they are married, I always get the same answer: They told me that they are waiting on the Lord, to send the right one, they are not seeking anybody, because of what Prov 18:22 said. Based on what they said I arrived at this conclusion: The men must come and find them, they are not supposed to do anything, but just standing there, they must not learn to cook, learn to dress, fix their mash up mouth, learning how to speak, and above all learning how to give correct signals. If they saw men that they have feelings for, they think it is not moral for them to convey their true feeling to the men. Because the men do not know, they move on to somebody else.
Proverbs 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the Lord.
Check the word: “Findeth,” , “Good thing” and “Wife” When a British sailor is lost at sea, they try to position themselves in the British channel, so they can be easily spotted and picket up by a another passing British liner or merchant ship. To be found, you will have to positioned yourselves. And when you are found, you have to act like you want to be picked up. What you act out is what you will always get. You acting like you are God’s gift to men, nobody will want you. No man wants a woman that is walking on clouds.
Not because somebody exchange vows down at the courthouse that does not necessarily mean they are man and wife where I am concerned. Some marriage is business marriage, the marriage that God intended is also done in the spirit of the two people, there must be a union of spirit as well as body. A wife is somebody that can be led, by a husband: 1 Cor. 9:5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? A good wife chooses a man that she is willing to follow, and willing to be good to:
