Y ou cannot understand the Bible from your denominational point of view. You cannot see Biblical truth with your denominational blind.

If God speak to you in a language that you do not understand, how can he blame you if you did not do what he say? How can you carry out a command if you do not understand the language the command was given in?

Gone are the days when the preachers can just get up and say any rubbish to people. People are getting wiser that the pastors now. That is why they are leaving the church. The Holy Spirit will never came upon a group of English speaking people and speak to them in Spanish. The only way he will let somebody speak in Spanish from the group, is if a Spanish speaking person is in the congregation and do not believe in God, and God want to confound him. God will let the Spanish-speaking person hear the English-speaking preacher in his language. At the same time the English speaking preacher are quit unaware of what has happen.

John 16:13 (NKJV)However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

If the Holy Spirit is guiding us into all truth, why are we so mixed-up? If the Holy Spirit is the fountain of all truth, why the people who claimed to be filled with the Holy Spirit seem so lost and cannot agree on any thing. Why are we so fragmented as bible believing people? Could it be that we have the wrong spirit posing as the Holy Spirit? I often heard believers say that they are “spirit taught” At the same time the things that they are putting out as being spirit taught, I have to wonder if the Holy Spirit cannot teach them any thing better?

Is that all the Holy Spirit can put out, for one that create the moon and the stars? “He will guide us into all truth” “He will show us things to come” Could it be that we have been hooked up to the wrong spirit? Could it be that the same spirit that lead King Saul out of the will of God, is leading many of us out of the will of God, while pretending to be the spirit of God? Yes! You can have a GPS System on board your ship. The problem is, are you following it? For the Holy Spirit to show us things, we must be willing to look. For the Holy Spirit to lead, us we must be willing to follow.

HOW ARE THE DISCIPLES GOING TO CARRY OUT THIS COMMAND?

Mark 16:15 (KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:16 (KJV) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:17 (KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Mark 16:18 (KJV) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

WHAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE GIFT OF “OTHER TONGUES”

Genesis 11:1-2 (KJV) And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. [2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. Genesis 11:3 (KJV) And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. Genesis 11:4 (KJV) And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Genesis 11:5-6 (KJV) And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. [6] And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Genesis 11:7-8 (KJV) Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. [8] So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

THE CONFUSION OF TONGUES.

No other doctrines seem to puzzled man like the doctrines of speaking in other tongues. Before, we move on I want to let you know that there are three dimension of tongues mentioning in the Bible. As we goes down through the ages, words seem to take on different meaning. To know what a writer means, you will have to interpreter his or her writing in reference to the time when it was written. What the writing mean the time is was written must convey the same message today.

WHAT TONGUES MEAN:

“Tongues” is the King James Version way of saying “A languages” (1)Tongues mean languages. This is the person’s native language. Speaking in tongues mean you are speaking your own native language, praising God in a way you have never done before.

(2) “Other Tongues” Speak of other languages, any language that is not your native language. Speaking in other tongues mean, you are speaking a foreign language. Different from your own native language.

I would like to say that people did not learn their native language. As long as they can remember, they were speaking that language. They grew into it. I did not learn to speak “patois” I grew up hearing my mother and father speaking it. However, I had to learn to speak English. Many years later I am still learning it. Therefore, English is my adoptive language.

(3) “Unknown Tongues” Speak of a language that is not known. There are language spoken in the South Pacific and some other place that many of us have never heard of. When a person is speaking in tongues, they are speaking their own native language. However, in a way they have not spoken before, divinely inspirited. They are not necessarily speaking a spirit language, such as unknown tongues. “Speaking in tongues today mean the person is saying something that no body knows what he or she is saying. Some people call this “Gibberish”

“Unknown tongues” must not be confused with “other tongues” “or tongues.” Unknown tongues and other tongues are different.

THE DAY OF PENTECOST THE APOSTLES SPOKE “OTHER TONGUES”

Peter did not jump from language to language the day of Pentecost. Neither, he did not speak the same sermon twelve times, so every body could hear him in their own language. Peter spoke one language, and all the people heard him in their own languages.

Acts 2:1-11 (Living Bible) Seven weeks had gone by since Jesus' death and resurrection, and the Day of Pentecost had now arrived. As the believers met together that day, [2] suddenly there was a sound like the roaring of a mighty windstorm in the skies above them and it filled the house where they were meeting. [3] Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on their heads. [4] And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in languages they didn't know, for the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. [5] Many godly Jews were in Jerusalem that day for the religious celebrations, having arrived from many nations. [6] And when they heard the roaring in the sky above the house, crowds came running to see what it was all about, and were stunned to hear their own languages being spoken by the disciples. [7] "How can this be?" they exclaimed. "For these men are all from Galilee, [8] and yet we hear them speaking all the native languages of the lands where we were born! [9] Here we are--Parthians, Medes, Elamites, men from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia Minor, [10] Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the Cyrene language areas of Libya, visitors from Rome--both Jews and Jewish converts-- [11] Cretans, and Arabians. And we all hear these men telling in our own languages about the mighty miracles of God!"

Acts 2:1-4 (KJV) And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. [2] And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. [3] And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. [4] And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:5 (KJV) And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Acts 2:6 (KJV) Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. THE GIFT WILL BE DONE WHEN ALL COMES TO UNITY:

Ephes. 4:11 (KJV) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

ARE WE PERFECT YET?

Ephes. 4:12 (KJV) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

ARE WE UNIFIED YET?

Ephes. 4:13 (KJV) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Ephes. 4:14 (KJV) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Ephes. 4:15 (KJV) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

NO RECEORD OF STEPHEN FILLING:

Acts 9:17 (NKJV)And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

THE HOUSEHOLD OF CORNELOUS SPEAK “TONGUES”

This was eight years after Pentecost. Acts 10:44-46 (NKJV) While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. 45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,

Acts 11:15-17 (NKJV) And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. 16 Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, 'John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.' 17 If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?"

TWELVE DISCIPLES WEERE FILLED:

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, Act 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. Act 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. Act 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Act 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Act 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Act 19:7 And all the men were about twelve.

UNKNOWN TONGUES:

The prophets speak to man for God. The priests speak to God for man. The people who spoke with other tongues, speak to man for God. While the saints who speak with unknown tongues speak to God for themselves and for man. “Unknown Tongues” is not for public meeting.

1Co 14:2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1Co 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 1Co 14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 1Co 14:5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

1 Cor. 14:13 (KJV) Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 1 Cor. 14:14 (KJV) For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 1 Cor. 14:19 (KJV) Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

1 Cor. 14:27 (KJV) If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 1 Cor. 14:27 (Living Bible) No more than two or three should speak in an unknown language, and they must speak one at a time, and someone must be ready to interpret what they are saying.

In public meetings the command is that no more than three messages in tongues should be allowed in any one service, and that, provided they are truly interpreted. The order should be by course with the first message being interpreted before a second, if any, is given. One who thus speaks should pray for the interpretation himself.

ALL DO NOT HAVE THE GIFT.

1 Cor. 12:30 (KJV) Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

Because you do not have any money in your pocket, does that means, every body is broke? Because you cannot speak other tongues or unknown tongues should you arrive at the conclusion that the gift is done away with? Because you do not have the gift of healing, does that mean that no body has that gift? There is nothing as stupid as close-minded denominational blind believers are. You cannot understand the bible with your denominational blind on.

SOMETIME ONLY CHRIST JESUS CAN HELP US:

Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

LOOK AT THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING A CHRISTIAN:

How does a person become a Christian, and are sure that he/she is save? First the person must know that he/she is a sinner and need deliverance from the lord.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Galatians 3:22 (KJV) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

THE SINNER MUST BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A GOD:

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

THE SINNER MUST BELIEVE THAT GOD IS READY TO FORGIVE HIM:

Isaiah 55:7 (KJV)Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

THE SINNER MUST BELIEVE THAT CHRIST DIED FOR HIM:

Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:8 (KJV)But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Cor. 15:3-8 (KJV) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: [5] And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: [6] After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. [7] After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. [8] And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

MUST BELIEVE THAT GOD CAN KEEP HIM:

Ephes. 3:20 (KJV) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Jude 1:24 (KJV) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

PERFECTING THE SAINTS IS A WORK OF GOD:

1 Peter 5:10 (KJV) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

THE SINNER MUST KNOW THAT ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE THEM:

Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

THE SINNER MUST MAKE A DECISION TODAY:

Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

2 Cor. 6:2 (KJV) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

BOW YOUR HEAD AND PRAY THIS PRAYER:

Lord I am a sinner and need your salvation. Forgive all my sins. I accept your son Jesus as my savior today.

DROP ALL PRE-CONCEIVE IDEAS OF CHRISTIANITY:

Drop all preconceived ideas of Christianity because these conflict with the reality of Christianity. The lord will live the life through you day by day. You do not drop things from your life on your own. The spirit of God will walk you out of sins in his own time.

FIRST HUMBLING YOU:

Ephes. 2:8-9 (KJV)For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If you stop sins and get holy before God’s timing you will begin to boast how it is your own magnetism got you so far, then you became a source of discouragement to others. Therefore, you are going to stuck upon a sin or two. The sin always getting the better of you. This will push you to always accept God’s grace, and to see your own frailness.

1 John 1:8 (KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

TO CONTINUE GROWING IN GOD:

1 Peter 2:2 (KJV) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

2 Peter 1:5-10 (NKJV) But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.

FINDING OUT YOUR CALLING:

When I was newly save, the believers always, ask me if I know the will of God for my life! I never really know what they were talking about. Every person that was saved had a mission and a gift. However, because you are just a babe in Christ you do not know any of these. As you go on with the lord his will for you will unfolds day bay day. Do not run off and make any big commitment. Your mate has to be tailor made for you by God. You are now a citizen of heaven. Heaven does not rule by democracy. You cannot serve God with democratic mind set.

WHAT YOU MUST DROP OFF:

Hebrews 12:1 (Living Bible) Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us.

Ephes. 4:31 (Living Bible) Stop being mean, bad-tempered, and angry. Quarreling, harsh words, and dislike of others should have no place in your lives.

GET A GOOD BIBLE, FIND A GOOD CHURCH:

One of the best Bibles out there is the New King James Version. Dake’s annotated Bible is very good. Next, you need a living bible to make some thing simple.

Hebrews 10:25 (Living Bible) Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.

PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM BEING SPOILED BY MAN:

Col. 2:8 (KJV)Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Hebrews 13:9 (KJV) Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Seven Ways that People Can Spoil Christians:

1. Through philosophy (Col. 2:8)

2. Through vain deceit (Col. 2:4,8,18-19)

3. Through human traditions (Col. 2:8)

4. Through human religion and world principles contrary to the gospel (Col. 2:8,14-23; note, §Galatians 4:3)

5. Through circumcision (Col. 2:11-13; Acts 15:1; Romans 4:9-16; Galatians 5:1-11)

6. Through the law of Moses, demanding observance of the laws on meats, drinks, holy days, new moons, feasts, and sabbaths (Col. 2:14-17)

7. Through cults that puff up and imitate the gospel (Col. 2:18-23)

By all these means, unsuspecting souls are being carried off as plunder and booty by false teachers. The founders of false religions and human philosophies which pamper the flesh and give their victims elated feelings of importance make an appeal to them.

Christianity is loaded down with some false concept. Some little believe system, which are spread by false believers. One of such teaching is that you must “Look like Christians” How does Christians look? Genuine Christianity is not an external thing but of the heart and spirit.

Micah 6:8 (KJV)He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

When cults capture a newly converted Christians, the cult first job on that new believer is to close their mind. Preventing the new believer from reading any material from other churches. So that new believer will never get out of their trap.

YOUR HORMONE DOES NOT STOP WORKING WITH CHRISTIANITY:

Philip. 3:20-21 (KJV)For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21] Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Romans 8:23 (KJV) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Our bodies were not save at conversion. The work of redemption took place in your spirit man. Our body will be redeemed at the return of our lord. We are still waiting for the redemption of our body.

According to Philip 3:20-21 and Romans 8:23. You are still going to have urges. You have to present your body to the lord as a living sacrifice. Not dead one. Living sacrifice give trouble, you will have trouble keeping that body tied to the altar. However, as you and I grow in the lord what seem impossible will be quite possible.
